We envision an America that enables and empowers all of its residents to realize their full potential, which is an America where all leaders who have an impact on Black people make decisions with building a stronger future for Black communities as a priority.

We support political candidates who center the Black experience in their decision making process; who work to ensure that Black Americans have an equal opportunity to partake in their share of the American dream.
Our Beliefs.
Improve Black Futures, Improve America.Black Americans disproportionately suffer from the highest rates of health, educational attainment, and wealth disparities; policies and systems that reverse these trends would benefit all Americans. |
Local Elections Matter.Black Americans are underrepresented in local government offices that have the most proximity and impact on Black lives and futures. Engaging in the political process at the local level is essential in securing a better future for Black Americans. |
Power to the People.The community knows what it lacks and needs. An informed, educated, electorate is the surest way to secure an equitable future for Black Americans; we must hold local officials accountable for their decisions. |
The Black American Futures PAC was founded on the belief that the future of Black Americans should be a key consideration of all elected officials, regardless of the size or wealth of the Black community in their area of service.

Most of us only pay attention to elections once every four years. However, local officials make up the vast majority of elected officials in the U.S.; these elections have a tangible effect on the lives of most Black Americans.
We uplift political candidates who have centered the Black experience in their policies as they run for local office. |

What we decide to criminalize, or legalize, matters. What we choose to fund, or defund, matters. The decisions made by local elected officials have the ability to uplift or conversely, destabilize, our communities.
We build diverse representative networks of local constituent support, offering a higher probability of success in pivotal races. |

We envision an electorate that increasingly exercises its right to vote; communities that are informed about their role in the electoral process; officials that represent and advocate for their Black constituents.
We identify and support candidates with the potential to make a significant positive impact on the future of Black Americans. We work to educate the electorate so it can hold elected officials accountable. |
