We support dynamic leaders committed to building better and stronger communities now and in the future.
Black American Futures PAC has created a robust endorsement process, based on our values, to identify and select candidates who will be a strong voice for equity in elected office. Candidates we endorse must be committed to supporting bold policies that will create and sustain a brighter future for the Black community and all communities as a whole.
Our process includes a questionnaire, which we will invite all candidates in a race to complete, that we will post here on our website to educate and inform the electorate on the vision, goals, and priorities of all candidates.
Our team of evaluators, which has a majority decision making group of Black women, includes the perspectives of men, women, and LGBTQIA+ communities. All candidates are invited to apply for consideration. Endorsements will be made based on the recommendations of our evaluators.
Our endorsement comes with financial/in-kind support subject to the needs of endorsed campaigns and the capacity of the Black American Futures PAC Team.
While we do our own research identifying strong candidates and key races across the country, we also depend on our supports to share important local races we should be paying attention to. Do you have a candidate or race we should be involved in? Please suggest a candidate or race for us to watch in the upcoming cycles!
